
The touchpad doesn't stop working, only the trackpoint. It doesn't happen that often but once it does, the only workaround is to put the computer to sleep and power it back on.

I personally find this issue to be annoying and frustrating. All drivers are up to date and all updates are installed through Windoes update and Lenovo Vantage. It is worth noting that I also started with a clean install of Windows 10 on a brand new 512gb M2 SSD. Since I had the Premier On-site warranty, a tech showed up the next day and replaced the keyboard assembly as well as the touchpad itself with brand new parts. I ended up contacting Lenovo's support thinking it was a hardware problem. I tried rolling back the driver to a previous version and even re-installing it after. No pattern is emerging, no major changes to the computer and nothing seems to be the trigger. It stops working randomly all of a sudden.

Brand new P15v and I am using the trackpoint almost all the time.
